Hi there - sorry for the delay in acknowledging your comment; over Christmas I spent most of it suffering with some flu thing (like most of the country) and it's taken me a little while to get back on top of things again. Thank you for your comment - a month on and I think some decisions have been made (although, I think what those decisions are haven't reached me yet... but we'll see what happens)

Procrastination just delays the inevitable.

not making a decision is often the worse decision you can make. How many things we lose just because we want to ponder them further, because we just want just a bit more time and 'then we'll know' ?

I think that it is absolutly a lovely poem.

Thank you; I'm glad you enjoyed it - I agree and value the friendships I've made too. (I'm not sure I'm happy with the poem, the way it turned out; I'm trying to write according to strict forms of poetry - which I always think sounds easy until I sit down and try and construct something cohesive) Anyway, glad you enjoyed it; have a good afternoon

(I've been thinking about that comment)

Perspective may be different,
or it may well be the same.
I'm not sure it helps
when lying is the aim.
When outlandish claims are made
and we feel we're going mad
we can't always see the other's P.O.V.
even when the reason's not bad.
The question more to is simply why
why do they say the things they do?
Don't they realise we question
believing nothing to be true?
And once the trust is gone,
what is it that remains?
Relationship built on falsehoods
and a liar's fantastical games.

Thank you. Looking at the words, I wish I'd wrote something a bit more positive - but - I think that the feeling of loss (for that which I know, for that which I'll never know) is what I have, when I think about the world, the environment.
